We love the design of the Mi Band 2, it doesnt mean we didnt like the Mi Band 1 design, the Mi Band 2 took the fitness tracker to new heights in terms of design, with added OLED display, we dont need to rely on the phone anymore to show us the statistics everytime we want to check our pulse rate. The larger surface area looks pretty awesome and the black shiny capsule looks more fashionable than the aluminum colored top of the Mi Band 1.

Now the important feature that have improved a lot is the heart rate on demand, you can now check you heart rate anytime, anywhere with just a tap on the button on the screen. Its that simple, unlike the Mi Band 1s, we need to access the Mi Fit App just to take a look at the pulse rate, well for me, I dont bring my phone in my pocket as I ran the treadmill inside the gym. This feature is definitely one of the selling point of this wearable.






Another feature that Xiaomi is claiming is its battery life, which can last up to 20 Days even with a OLED Display this time around. Now as on my side, after wearing for 2 days, the battery still count 98% on my end. Things look good on my end.

Band Strap:


The band strap is different from the old design, giving the Mi Band a new facelift, with the bigger capsule, Xiaomi did not disappoint in the design of the Mi Band 2 strap, making the capsule more secure against sudden lost due to daily bump and grind. (I lost my Mi Band 1 capsule without me noticing it, the strap of Mi Band 1 is not so secure).
